Job summary

Furqaan Academy Bolingbrook is seeking a dedicated physical therapist to evaluate students, determine IEP-driven therapy needs, and deliver targeted services. You will participate in IEP meetings, monitor progress, and collaborate with staff to support mobility and participation.

Responsibilities include training staff on lifting techniques, conducting device evaluations, and maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification from an approved CAPTE physical therapy program.
• Current IL State License in Physical Therapy.
• Previous experience in a special education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and develop IEP-driven services.
• Attend IEP meetings and document progress toward goals.
• Provide mobility device evaluations and staff training on lifting methods and equipment.
• Schedule and deliver therapy sessions and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with IEP team and district representatives to support student outcomes.
