Job summary

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, treat, and consult for students in a school setting. This role collaborates with special education teams to improve mobility and access to learning.

The PT conducts evaluations, develops individualized therapy plans, delivers services per IEPs, documents progress, and participates in IEP meetings, guiding mobility needs across multiple grade levels. Requires PT license and school-based experience if possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the practice state.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Excellent organizational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals.
• Provide direct therapy services per IEPs and physician orders when applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide mobility/access recommendations.
