Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated school-based Physical Therapist to support student mobility and access to education in Texas. You will evaluate needs, design interventions with the IEP team, provide therapy, and monitor progress to promote independence in the school setting.

You’ll collaborate with parents, educators, and district staff, participate in ARD meetings, and advocate for students while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Texas PT license or eligibility to practice in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs with comprehensive PT evaluations using standardized tools and observations.
• Communicate findings to parents, educators, and district personnel with clear recommendations.
• Develop evidence-based, individualized therapeutic interventions with IEP team.
• Provide direct therapy or supervise PTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress and document data for IEP reviews and planning.
• Participate in ARD meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to advocate for students.
