Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a school-based role in Texas. You will evaluate student needs, conduct PT assessments, and collaborate with families, educators, and district staff to promote access and independence in the educational environment.

You will design individualized therapeutic interventions with the IEP team, provide direct therapy or supervise PTAs, and track progress to inform IEP reviews and service planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent.
• Active License by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations with standardized tools to determine need for services per Texas standards.
• Share evaluation results with parents, educators, and district personnel with clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with IEP team to design evidence-based, individualized interventions addressing student needs.
• Deliver direct therapy or supervise PTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Collect and document student progress data for IEP reviews and service planning.
• Participate in ARD meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to advocate for students.
