Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist for a contract role in the Wilmington, NC area. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapy programs that support students’ motor and functional goals.

You will conduct evaluations, create individualized plans, monitor progress, and participate in IEP meetings to ensure alignment with educational objectives. A NC PT license and experience in schools are required.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license valid to practice in North Carolina.
• Experience in schools with PT techniques for educational settings.
• Ability to assess and develop individualized intervention plans for students K-12.
• Strong communication with teachers, families and school teams.
• Adaptable, student-centered professional with growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine needs and set measurable therapy goals.
• Design and execute evidence-based therapy plans aligned with IEPs.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions; document outcomes.
• Serve as a resource for staff and families on mobility and classroom modifications.
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
