Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a contracted Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year in North Carolina. This part-time, school-based position provides guaranteed weekly time with 30 minutes of therapy per week, focusing on pediatric mobility and functional goals within the IEP framework.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in North Carolina (or eligibility to acquire)
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric assessments, IEP processes, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to provide both direct therapy and consultative services

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy sessions to students according to their IEPs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as necessary
• Create and update student documentation to track progress and compliance
• Consult with school staff to provide strategies that support student mobility within the educational environment
• Ensure all services align with state and federal regulations
