Job summary

Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking a Physical Therapist to support students across our region. This 2-days-per-week position is based at Midlakes Education Center and offers school-based physical therapy services to improve mobility and participation in learning activities.

The role requires NYS licensure or eligibility, strong evaluation and documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with school teams.

Qualifications

• New York State licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist.
• Strong evaluation and clinical decision making skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on medical referrals.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students.
• Address mobility, strength, balance, posture, and functional movement needs.
• Maintain required documentation, treatment notes, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and related service providers.
• Provide oversight and instruction to assigned support staff.
• Perform related work as required.
