Job summary

Capitol Region Education Council in Bloomfield/Windsor, CT, is seeking a Physical Therapist to support students across multiple school sites. The position offers the flexibility of part-time, full-time, or per diem engagement, aligned with IEP goals and educational supports.

The PT will assess, plan, and deliver educationally relevant interventions, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain detailed documentation of services and progress.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CT license to practice physical therapy.
• Two years of experience in pediatric/school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete screenings, evaluations, and develop measurable goals aligned with IEPs.
• Evaluate students' PT needs using tests and observations; inform staff and families.
• Document therapy services, attendance, progress, and Medicaid billing when required.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related staff to implement therapy plans.
• Coordinate with other therapists and community providers as needed.
