Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for a school-based contract in Michigan. This role involves assessing and treating students across elementary to high school, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with teachers and families to support communication goals.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and state licensure, with strong pediatric experience and IEP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA required or eligible.
• Valid or eligible state SLP licensure in Michigan preferred.
• Strong background in pediatric speech therapy within educational settings.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to students across various grade levels.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining clear and compliant records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to student care plans.
• Engage students in creative and effective interventions to foster engagement and progress.
