Soliant Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide services in a school-based setting near San Francisco, CA. The contract role supports the 26-27 school year with a flexible 3-4 hour weekly commitment.

The position emphasizes collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, along with strong documentation and IEP participation, to help students reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• Prior experience in pediatric or school settings is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of IEP development and relevant documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening, assessments, and evaluations of students' motor development and physical needs.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy interventions within the educational setting.
• Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Work closely with teachers and other specialists to support students' physical access to curriculum and activities.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.
• Offer training and guidance to staff and families to promote student independence and participation.
