Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed physical therapist to support students during the 2026-2027 school year in the Newtown region, with one day per week in the Morrisville/Pennsbury area and travel to Carbon and/or Lehigh County as needed.

The role offers 21–28 hours weekly across 3–4 days, a meaningful part-time engagement with preschool through school-age caseloads, and collaboration with educators and families. In-person services only, with active involvement in IEP planning.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure to practice physical therapy in a school setting.
• Minimum of one year of pediatric experience.
• Availability for in-person services only; remote work not offered.
• Willingness to travel within the designated service area.
• Commitment to fostering student growth and independence.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students in preschool and school-age programs.
• Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based treatments.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to coordinate care.
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting per state and district protocols.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student plan development.
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse learners' needs.
