Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to cover a maternity leave in a Florida school setting. This full-time contract runs Aug 4, 2026 to Dec 18, 2026, serving a caseload of 37 students and helping them reach IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and families.

Applicants should be licensed in Florida, with school-based experience preferred, and strong communication skills to engage students, families, and multidisciplinary teams in pediatric PT best practices.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Florida Physical Therapist.
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred.
• Understanding of pediatric PT best practices.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education laws.
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT services to students per IEPs.
• Evaluate and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Track progress and write reports; participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
• Recommend classroom modifications and adaptive equipment.
• Encourage motor skill development and confidence in students.
