Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Warrenton, VA, is seeking a School-Based Physical Therapist to support students' motor development within the school setting. The role collaborates with teachers, parents, and school staff to assess, plan, and implement IEP-driven therapy programs.

You will provide direct services, document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and educate staff and families on mobility strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia PT license (if applicable).
• Experience with children in school or pediatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to identify motor skill deficits.
• Develop IEP-based therapy plans.
• Provide direct and consultative PT services to improve strength and mobility.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate goals into education plans.
• Document assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Prepare quarterly progress reports.
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support development.
• Monitor and adjust therapy plans as needed.
