Job summary

Wickenburg Unified School District is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist to support students in the district. This 9-month classified calendar role runs about 20 hours per week, with an immediate starting date and opportunities to collaborate with families and school teams.

Responsibilities include developing and monitoring IEPs, implementing PT programs, direct student services, and reporting progress while maintaining records in compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required.
• Arizona Physical Therapist license is required.
• Fingerprint clearance and/or background check required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors IEPs for students eligible for physical therapy services.
• Develops and coordinates a physical therapy program including philosophy and goals.
• Provides direct PT services to students as indicated on IEPs.
• Evaluates students using information with parents and school teams.
• Communicates progress and requirements to parents and school staff.
• Maintains student records per district/state policies.
• Keeps rapport with students, staff, and community.
