Job summary

The Wickenburg USD 9 District Office in Arizona is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapist for roughly 20 hours per week. The role focuses on screening, IEP development, direct OT services, and collaboration with teachers and families to support student progress.

Required is a Bachelor’s in occupational therapy with an active AZ OT license; a Master’s degree and Sensory Integration certification are preferred, along with an IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and an Arizona OT license.
• Master’s degree preferred and sensory integration certification preferred.
• Clearance card (AZ IVP FPCC) required/maintained.
• Minimum six months supervised clinical affiliation and pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screening/assessments and report writing for students.
• Develop/monitor IEPs and participate in meetings.
• Provide direct OT services to students per IEPs.
• Supervise COTA and collaborate with staff and families.
• Procure equipment and design adaptive devices as needed.
