Job summary

The Winchester Board of Education is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to support students with disabilities in the classroom and school setting, developing and coordinating therapy programs under the Director of Student Services.

Responsibilities include evaluating needs, contributing to IEPs, training staff, selecting interventions, and ensuring compliance with FERPA and state laws, while maintaining records and coordinating with families and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Experience in educational/pediatric settings preferred.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and coordinates the PT program within the school district.
• Evaluates PT needs of students using tests and observations.
• Participates in development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborates with parents, staff, and physicians to meet PT needs.
