Job summary

Indian Prairie Community Unit School District is seeking a Physical Therapist (Long Term Sub) to provide educationally related PT services in a school setting. Travel between two or more buildings is required, with dates approx 8/12/26-11/5/26.

The role requires current Illinois licensure and pediatric experience; school experience is preferred. Starting pay is $53.16 per hour, and final rate is aligned with district standards as experience is considered.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Licensure and Pediatric experience are required.
• School experience is preferred.
• Work in general education and special education settings with students aged 3 - 21.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional performance of students within the school setting through observation and review of student records.
• Modify and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs and IDEP goals.
• Review progress via assessments, maintain records, and develop intervention strategies with the team.
• Meet regularly with teachers and specialists to discuss modifications and ongoing interventions.
• Participate in problem solving and intervention teams to support learning and behavior needs.
• Provide documentation of student performance and communicate with parents and case managers.
