Sunbelt Staffing in Illinois is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to support students in an elementary and middle school near Gurnee for the upcoming academic year.

This contract role is 2 days per week, onsite, starting in August, with weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Illinois Physical Therapist license.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy preferred.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with teachers, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and treatments to students according to individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation in school-related activities.
• Document services, progress, and any necessary modifications to therapy plans.
• Consult with faculty to adapt classroom environments for student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input regarding student goals and outcomes.
