Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Georgia PSC approved accredited college or university in Physical Therapy education.
• Minimum one year of general physical therapy experience.
• Valid physical therapy license issued by the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats children with special physical needs.
• Educates staff and family members on patient care, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge to support treatment plans.
• Documents each patient's progress and adapts treatment plans as required, maintaining meticulous records of patient care.
• Orders equipment and assistive devices as needed for patients, making modifications to processes to enhance performance within the department.
• Writes comprehensive reports that accurately reflect patient care activities and outcomes.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and ensures continuity of services for patients.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
