Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist for a contract role serving elementary and middle school students. This full-time position (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) focuses on helping students grow in academic and functional areas within a collaborative school setting.

You will work with educators and families, write IEP-related reports, and tailor therapy plans to student needs. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and 401(k) matching, with the contract through June

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Knowledge of current best practices in OT for school-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized OT interventions for students to improve academic and functional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support progress and inclusion.
• Evaluate students and write reports to support IEPs.
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain up-to-date records.
• Provide consultative guidance and training to classroom staff as needed.
