Job summary

Soliant is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support early childhood students in Lackawanna County, PA. This onsite contract role offers flexible 21 hours per week across 2-3 days, with potential to move to full-time as the year progresses.

You will collaborate with teachers and families, help develop IEP-aligned goals, and deliver hands‑on OT interventions. A PA OT license, ability to obtain PA clearances, and experience in preschool settings are required.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in PA.
• Ability to obtain PA clearances.
• Experience in early childhood or preschool settings.
• Experience with younger children in schools.
• Comfort working onsite with a collaborative education team.
• Willingness to interview virtually via Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement OT interventions for early childhood students, fostering skill development and independence
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to develop individualized strategies and goals
• Document progress, adapt approaches as needed, and help create inclusive learning environments
• Support IEP development and participate in team meetings
• Provide hands‑on, engaging therapy sessions aligned with students’ unique needs
