Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support children in school-based settings across Long Island, Westchester and Hudson Valley regions. Position may be full-time or fee-for-service, with sign-on bonuses available after 90 days on active caseloads.

The role involves designing therapeutic interventions, administering evaluations, collaborating with school teams, and monitoring progress on IEP goals in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• COTAs welcome to apply!
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
