Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking an Occupational Therapist for school-based work across Westchester, NY. Position may be fee-for-service or full-time, with Monday–Friday hours aligned to elementary school schedule.

A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days with active caseload. Compensation ranges from $60 to $75 per hour; benefits for full-time staff include PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), FSA, life and disability insurance, EAP, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
