Job summary

Family of Kidz on Long Island is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for school-age caseloads. The role offers school district placements across Long Island, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of active employment.

Compensation ranges from $60 to $120 per hour, with full-time or fee-for-service options depending on caseload. Benefits and flexible scheduling align with a school calendar and program needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and group occupational therapy interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors and coordinators related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned families and school personnel.
• Collect data on each IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend initial CSE meetings and annual reviews.
