Job summary

Thrive Therapies Group is a pediatric healthcare company hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary and middle schools in the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton area. You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT, following each student’s IEP and treatment plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification (COTA).
• Washington occupational therapy assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in schools under supervision of a licensed OT, following each student's IEP and treatment plan.
• Build fine motor, sensory, self-care, and participation skills for the school day.
• Work with teachers on classroom strategies and supports.
• Track progress and write timely session notes.
• Communicate regularly with your supervising OT about student progress and plan changes.
