Job summary

Thrive Therapies Group is seeking a Pediatric COTA to provide school-based occupational therapy in elementary and middle schools in the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton areas. The role supports students under an OT supervisor and follows IEPs and treatment plans.

Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited OTA program with NBCOT certification (COTA) and a WA OT assistant license or eligibility. Multiple schedules available, with full-time options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification (COTA) required or eligibility.
• WA OT assistant license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in schools under the supervision of a licensed OT, following each student's IEP and treatment plan.
• Build fine motor, sensory, self-care, and participation skills for school day participation.
• Work with teachers on classroom strategies and supports
• Track progress and write timely session notes
• Communicate regularly with your supervising OT about student progress and plan changes
