Job summary

Thrive Therapies Group is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for school-based services in the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton area. You’ll work under licensed OTs to support elementary and middle school students, focusing on fine motor, sensory, self-care, and school participation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• NBCOT certification (COTA).
• Active Washington OT assistant license or eligibility.
• Able to pass background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services under supervision of a licensed OT per IEP and treatment plans.
• Support student development in fine motor, sensory, self-care, and school participation skills.
• Collaborate with teachers on classroom strategies, accommodations, and supports.
• Track student progress and complete timely session documentation.
• Communicate progress and plan updates with supervising OT.
