This independent outpatient practice with Medical Director oversight emphasizes pediatric care and autonomous practice, including suturing and minor procedures, to support the community.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant REQUIRED.
• Active Virginia Physician Assistant License REQUIRED.
• Active DEA Registration REQUIRED.
• Ability to Practice Independently REQUIRED.
• Experience Treating Pediatric and Adolescent Patients REQUIRED.
• Experience Performing Minor Procedures Including Suturing REQUIRED.
• Strong Clinical Assessment Skills REQUIRED.
• Excellent Communication Skills REQUIRED.
• Community-Based Care Experience Preferred.
• School-Based or Primary Care Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient acute medical care for students and school staff.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common illnesses and injuries.
• Perform minor office procedures including suturing.
• Practice independently with Medical Director oversight.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with school personnel and healthcare providers.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
