Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Board-Certified Physician Assistant for a school-based outpatient role in Stuart, VA. The PA will provide direct medical care in a school-based clinic serving elementary to high school students and staff, with independent practice under Medical Director oversight.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Physician Assistant required.
• Active Virginia PA license required.
• Active DEA registration required.
• Ability to practice independently required.
• Comfort caring for pediatric/adolescent populations required.
• Ability to provide acute outpatient care required.
• Confidence performing minor procedures including suturing.
• Must work Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based outpatient medical care to students and staff.
• Evaluate and treat acute medical conditions.
• Independently assess and manage patients with oversight from Medical Director.
• Perform minor procedures, including suturing.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient education.
• Coordinate with Medical Director for appropriate escalation when needed.
