Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA) for a school-based outpatient opportunity in Stuart, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who wants predictable weekday hours, independent practice, meaningful community impact, and the opportunity to provide hands-on acute care to children, adolescents, and school-system staff.
The Physician Assistant will provide direct medical care within a school-based clinic serving elementary, middle, and high school students as well as school staff. The provider will practice independently with oversight and support from a Medical Director.
This is an acute-care-focused outpatient position combining clinical autonomy with leadership support. The PA should be comfortable independently evaluating and treating patients while providing hands-on care and performing minor procedures, including suturing.
Candidates should enjoy caring for pediatric and adolescent populations and be comfortable providing acute medical care within a community-based school environment.
This position requires a Physician Assistant who is comfortable practicing independently. The PA will have Medical Director oversight but must be confident evaluating acute presentations, making clinical decisions, developing treatment plans, and recognizing when consultation or escalation is appropriate.
This is a hands‑on acute care position. Candidates should be confident performing minor procedures, including suturing, and comfortable evaluating and managing minor injuries and other acute concerns encountered within an outpatient setting.
This position combines an excellent weekday schedule with clinical autonomy and meaningful community-based medicine. With no call, a 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule, a 5% retirement match, 20 PTO days plus nine paid holidays, dedicated CME time and funding, up to $50,000 in student loan repayment eligibility, and employer-paid professional renewals, this is a strong opportunity for a Physician Assistant who enjoys independent acute care and working with children and families.
