Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking two Occupational Therapy Assistants to provide school-based services for a local school district. This 1099 independent contracting position offers flexible scheduling with start dates for maternity and medical leave coverage.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering therapy aligned with IEP goals, evaluating student progress, collaborating with teachers, and involving parents in the therapy program. Competitive rates and ongoing mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide therapy techniques through individual and/or group sessions to meet educational goals in IEPs.
• Screen, evaluate, and document student levels, strengths, needs, and progress using approved instruments.
• Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate needs and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan classroom-based activities.
• Provide consultative services to involve parents in the therapy program.
