Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions seeks a passionate Occupational Therapist to provide related therapy services in a public school setting, supporting students with special education services to reach IEP goals.

You will assess, plan, implement, and document OT interventions, collaborating with teachers and families to promote independence and participation in academics. Experience in pediatrics and familiarity with IDEA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Valid State Occupational Therapy License
• Educational/Teacher Certification if mandated by state guidelines
• Experience in pediatrics, sensory integration, neurodevelopmental therapy (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate fine motor, visual-motor, perceptual, sensory-motor, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, including teachers, therapists, and families.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver therapy sessions through individual, group, or consultative models based on IEP requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Support student independence and participation in the academic environment.
