Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions in Columbia, MO is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide related therapy services in a public school setting. The role supports students in special education, focusing on motor, sensory, self-care and independence to help meet IEP goals.

You will assess, collaborate with teachers and families, develop and implement IEPs with measurable objectives, deliver sessions in various formats, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid State Occupational Therapy License.
• Educational/Teacher Certification if mandated by state guidelines.
• Experience in pediatrics, sensory integration, or neurodevelopmental therapy preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate fine motor, visual-motor, perceptual, sensory-motor, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, including teachers, therapists, and families.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver therapy sessions through individual, group, or consultative models based on IEP requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Support student independence and participation in the academic environment.
