Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) in Redmond, WA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a part-time (.4 FTE) position delivering in-person OT services in school settings.

The role focuses on evaluations, individualized plans aligned with IEP goals, collaboration with teachers, families, and related services, and documentation. Washington licensure and ESA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Washington State OT license.
• Active Washington ESA Certification.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide in-person services at multiple school locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to determine students' educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in educational settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills that promote educational success.
