Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support early education students. The role starts with 2-3 days per week and may grow to full-time as the program expands.

You will evaluate needs, develop and implement treatment plans, provide direct school-based therapy, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote students' independence. The position offers a weekday daytime schedule with no evenings or major holidays, and compensation

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in PA with current license.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct school-based occupational therapy services.
• Help students strengthen fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional classroom skills.
• Establish measurable goals and monitor student progress.
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, and required documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student education plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other therapy professionals.
• Recommend classroom strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment when appropriate.
