Job summary

Interim HealthCare is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist to provide OT services to early education students. This role starts at 2–3 days per week with a pathway to full-time as the program expands.

You will evaluate students, develop individualized plans, and work with teachers, families, and other therapists to support students’ independence and learning.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a student-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct school-based OT services.
• Strengthen fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and classroom skills.
• Establish measurable goals and monitor progress.
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, and required documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other therapists.

What We’re Looking For

• Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a student-focused team
• Pediatric, early education, or school-based experience preferred
• Ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania school clearances
