Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to provide OT services to early education students in a school setting. The role starts with 2–3 days per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the program expands.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a student-focused team.
• Pediatric, early education, or school-based experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain PA school clearances.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct school-based occupational therapy services.
• Help students strengthen fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and classroom skills.
• Establish measurable goals and monitor progress.
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, and required documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student education plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other therapy professionals.
• Recommend classroom strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment when appropriate.

Interim HealthCare is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to early education students. This position begins at 2–3 days per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the program expands.
