Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You will evaluate students, develop IEP-aligned plans, and provide direct OT services to support participation in classroom activities and daily school routines.

Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, you will help students build fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and functional independence while adhering to district and state

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy license through the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
• Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Completion of required clinical fieldwork experience
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based occupational therapy service delivery models
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
• Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Evaluate students to identify OT needs impacting participation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
• Provide direct OT services to students across grade levels
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation strategies, self-care skills, and functional abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding accommodations, modifications, and assistive strategies
