Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver services across a K-12 environment in a contract role, collaborating with a dedicated team supporting four school buildings for the upcoming academic year.

Roles can be onsite or virtual, enabling flexible delivery to students with diverse needs. The position requires Vermont OT or COTA certification, experience in school settings, strong communication, and the ability to supervise a COTA when needed; schedule of 35-37.5 hours per

Qualifications

• Current Vermont OT or COTA certification is required.
• Experience working in a school setting, especially K-12.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff and families.
• Ability to adapt interventions to a broad range of student ages and needs.
• Comfortable supervising a COTA as the supervising OT (for OTs).
• Familiarity with virtual service delivery is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels (district-wide for OTs, grades 5-12 and select 2-4 for COTAs).
• Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress.
• Consult with education teams to develop strategies and supports for students.
• Supervise and collaborate with a COTA where applicable.
• Participate in team meetings and parent conferences, both onsite and virtually.
• Maintain timely records and compliance with district and state documentation standards.
