Job summary

ProCare Therapy invites a dedicated school-based occupational therapist to support students in grades K-8 near Bridgeport, CT. You will assess, plan, and deliver services aligned with IEP goals, while collaborating with teachers and families to promote participation and progress.

The role runs as a fixed-term contract from late summer through early summer, with a weekday schedule and weekly pay, including comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut Occupational Therapy license required.
• Prior experience delivering OT services in a school environment.
• Strong understanding of pediatric and school OT techniques.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide direct OT services for students in grades K-8.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support progress.
• Attend and contribute to IEP and team meetings as needed.
• Deliver services in group and individual settings as appropriate.
