Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist for a 41-week assignment in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The role supports middle school students' participation and independence within the classroom and builds essential functional skills.

You will conduct evaluations, support MTSS and IEP processes, collaborate with educators, and help students generalize skills across school settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License.
• School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to middle school students to support participation and goals.
• Conduct initial and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and supports.
• Collaborate with educators and MTSS/IEP teams to promote student success.
• Help students generalize skills across academic environments.
