Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure and registration as an OT.

• Familiarity with evaluation procedures for special education eligibility.
• Ability to deliver effective MTSS and IEP-related interventions.
• Strong consultation skills with educational teams to foster skill generalization.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and re-evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Provide direct OT support for students under MTSS and IEP frameworks.
• Serve as a core member of building-level multidisciplinary teams.

The work schedule aligns with regular school hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, at two welcoming middle schools in the Arlington Heights, IL area.
