Point Quest seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide school-based OT services in Coachella, CA for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves direct therapy to enhance students’ communication and access to education, collaborating with teachers and families.

Applicants must have an OT license, FBI Live Scan and TB clearance, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. DOE certification is preferred, with mentoring and CEU opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed as Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• DOE certification (preferred).
• Experience with school-based caseload management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services to students in K-12 school settings.
• Deliver direct therapy to improve communication skills and access to education.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain thorough and timely progress notes and documentation.
• Assist with assistive technology and equipment as needed.
