Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant for school-based services across Westchester, NY. Part-time, hourly position with flexible school-hour scheduling and the potential for full-time or fee-for-service based on caseload.

Direct treatment pay ranges from $50–$55 per hour; indirect tasks like notes writing are paid at $16 per hour. Benefits mirror full-time offerings when applicable, and applicants must be NYS certified.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and school teams.
• Ability to manage time and stay organized in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors and coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
