Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time Orientation & Mobility Specialist for a Loveland, Ohio school-based role for the 2026–2027 year. The position provides direct O&M instruction to K–12 students, with a focus on mobility, safety, and independence within school and community settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and COMS certification, with Ohio licensure or eligibility. Compensation ranges from $55–$75 per hour, with guaranteed hours and collaboration with the school

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in Orientation & Mobility or related field preferred.
• Completion of an Orientation & Mobility preparation program is required.
• COMS certification through ACVREP or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Appropriate Ohio licensure, certification, or authorization as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct O&M instruction to students one-on-one and in small groups.
• Conduct comprehensive O&M assessments and develop measurable IEP goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including TVIs, teachers, and families.
• Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
