Job summary

Hamilton County Educational Service Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year to identify, evaluate and provide specialized occupational therapy interventions to students with sensory, motor, or perceptual deficits that affect school performance. This role may be full-time or part-time; candidates must hold Ohio OT registration, a valid license, and a valid driver's license.

Collaboration with teachers, families and the educational team is essential to support

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Current Ohio Registration to practice OT.
• Valid OT license from the Ohio Board of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings, evaluations, and interventions through an interdisciplinary process to support students.
• Assist in developing and monitoring individualized educational goals based on data and maintain documentation.
• Perform therapy to improve sensory-motor function as related to educational needs.
• Supervise the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant as appropriate.
• Implement rules and regulations per district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Develop and maintain an efficient workload schedule.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, admins and outside agencies to meet student needs.
• Maintain Hamilton County ESC policies and procedures.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Use transportation to carry out school assignments and manage materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
