Job summary

RCM Health Care Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based role in Hamilton, OH. The OT will assess and plan therapy to meet student IEP goals, collaborate with families and school staff, and deliver direct therapy on-site in a school setting.

The position requires traveling to multiple sites and maintaining detailed records. Qualifications include Ohio OT licensure and driver’s license; experience in pediatric/educational OT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered OT with Ohio license.
• Experience in school-based OT and IEP goals.
• Must be willing to travel to multiple sites and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Administers occupational therapy procedures to meet IEP/504 objectives.
• Assesses fine motor, sensory, and functional skills to guide treatment.
• Collaborates with parents, teachers, physicians and administrators.
• Develops treatment plans and selects appropriate assistive devices.
• Instructs students and staff on devices and remediation plans.
• Maintains records and prepares reports and billing information.
• Travels to various sites to provide direct therapy and consultations.
• Participates in meetings and IEP teams for coordination.
