Sd308 is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead and coordinate the district's OT program for students with disabilities. You will develop individualized plans based on daily living, interaction skills, and community participation considerations, within the school setting.

You will screen and evaluate students, collaborate with educators, prepare written reports, and contribute to IEP development while supervising OT Assistants and planning staff trainings.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of OT theories, models, and evidence-based practice guiding interventions.
• Understanding of child development and how disabilities affect participation.
• FERPA/504 knowledge and compliance in schools.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and coordination of the district's OT program.
• Screen, evaluate, and monitor students for educational and therapeutic needs.
• Collaborate with staff to interpret student occupational performance.
• Prepare and deliver written reports on strengths and barriers.
• Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide targeted OT intervention to support participation and performance.
• Assess need for assistive technology and recommend school use.
• Document services and maintain records per policies and laws.
• Supervise OT Assistants as needed.
• Plan and conduct staff, parent, and student education sessions.
