Job summary

The Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time casual position in the Hamilton County Educational Service Center. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and delivering occupational therapy interventions to students with sensory, motor, or perceptual needs that impact school performance.

Responsibilities include screenings, developing educational goals, supervising a therapy assistant, and collaborating with teachers and families

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current ODE registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid license from Ohio Occupational Therapy, PT and Athletic Trainers Board required.
• Must have valid driver's license and provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings, evaluations, and interventions in the school setting through an interdisciplinary process.
• Develop and monitor individual education goals and track progress with data.
• Perform therapy to improve sensory-motor functions related to educational objectives.
• Supervise the certified occupational therapy assistant as appropriate.
• Work within district/state/federal guidelines and manage scheduling and workload.

Education

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

Current ODE Registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist

Valid OT license from Ohio OT, PT and Athletic Trainers Board
