Job summary

Hamilton County ESC in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time casual position. The open position requires current ODE registration, an OT degree, and a valid license, with own transportation.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluations, and school-based interventions. You will collaborate with the educational team to set goals, monitor progress, and ensure documentation meets district standards.

Qualifications

• Current ODE Registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or institution.
• A valid license in Occupational Therapy from the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board.
• Must have valid driver's license and provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings, evaluations, and interventions to support students in the school environment through an inter-disciplinary process.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of individualized educational goals and strategies based on data and maintain student documentation.
• Utilize body mechanics and mobility to include lifting and moving children, wheelchair transfers, and handling adaptive equipment.
• Provide therapy to improve, develop or restore sensory motor functions as related to the educational program.
• Direct and supervise the activities of the certified occupational therapy assistant as appropriate.
• Implement district, state and federal rules and regulations.
